Meeting between the Akanu Ohafia community and Nigerian Army led by the Garrison commander -Lt. Col. Emeka Nwakonobi aimed at promoting Civil-Military relationship and opportunity to plead for liniency as part of 57th Independence gesture. This meeting was at the instance of the Executive Chairman- Engr John Eke Njoku. In attendance were Hon Agara Agwu, councilor representing Akanu-ukwu,
Rev Gabriel-Patron of Ohafia Youth and aides of the chairman of Ohafia local government.
Also in Attendance were HRH Eze Iro Nwosu- the Onyiriegbe of Akanu-ukwu autonomous community and Eze Ogo of Odoawa-ukwu village-Eze Okoro Oke Ole and his council members.
